The 4th session of this highly successful Year of the Customer Series, entitled Harnessing Customers as Your Primary Marketing Tool, focuses on implementing programs to encourage satisfied customers to actually act on your behalf. Brief presentations will be followed by extended questions and answers from attendees to the panel presenters. The maximum audience size of 50 persons will facilitate discussion and learning from others.

This part of the session will feature a moderated panel discussion focused on translating techniques from the panel members into simple things that attendees can do tomorrow. Attendee questions will drive the direction of the discussion.
Attendees will also work in "similar interest groups" to explore key themes from the session and reconvene to share learning among all of the interest groups.

Speaker Biographies
Paul McAskill
Paul McAskill is the Owner and Founder of The Compass Points, a Coaching, Consulting and Training company focused on serving small businesses through Business Development success. Paul’s unique background as a Mechanical Engineer turned Sales Professional and Entrepreneur, combined with over 12 years of study in Ontology, (the study of the "being" in human beings) has taught him many lessons and learning’s to pass on that provide a hands on, logical and action orientated approach to insure results.
Paul has 20 years of broad-based business experience in Sales, Marketing, General Management, Customer Relations, High Tech and E-Commerce. He is a versatile and straight forward communicator with expertise leading sales teams and executive teams in inventing and achieving the vision of organizations. Paul is a respected and results oriented professional. His current client base includes high tech companies, entrepreneurs, solo-preneurs and small companies all interested in growing their company and people to achieve specific goals.
Paul holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, Massachusetts and has participated in ongoing education and accreditations from Landmark Education, The New Agreements in the workplace, Sandler Sales Institute, and Coachville. He currently serves on the Business Development Committee of the Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce.
Susanne Kuehl
Susanne Kuehl RDH is currently employed with Tom’s of Maine as their Professional Advocacy Team Leader. Her newly developed position is dedicated to educating health professionals about natural oral care, its relationship to wellness and Tom’s of Maine Natural Care products. She works out of the home office in Kennebunk, Maine and travels to the many professional association meetings, conferences, and dental conventions across the nation. As liaison between industry and the oral health professions she assists in the development of educational and collateral materials that deliver the message about Tom’s of Maine’s values and products to health professionals and the general consumer.
A graduate of Westbrook College, Ms. Kuehl has over 25 years of experience as a dental hygienist working in private practice as well as the corporate field. She was a member of the Oral –B Advisory Board for three years serving one as chairperson and was a sales representative for Professional Dental Technologies covering NH and Maine. She is a past president of the New Hampshire Dental Hygiene Association as well as an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association currently involved in their corporate special interest group.
Paul E. Lucy
Paul Lucy is owner and general manager of Sir Speedy Printing in Portsmouth, NH, a business he acquired in late 1993. Before becoming an independent business owner, he had a broad background in general management and senior-level marketing, financial and administrative positions.
In the 1980's and early 90's, he was a senior business executive with the New York office of Foote, Cone & Belding, one of North America's largest advertising/marketing communications companies. As executive vice president and chief administrative officer, he had executive responsibility for finance, human resources, information systems, legal affairs and real estate. He also developed and managed the New York company's annual business plan.
During 1991, he was CEO of Albert Frank-Guenther Law, FCB's Wall Street financial services advertising/public relations agency, preparing that entity for a profitable divestiture which took place in early 1992.
During a 10-year period at PepsiCo, Inc., Lucy served with the PepsiCo Foods International Division, for three years as president, Frito Lay of Canada and two years as president, Frito Lay of Puerto Rico. Other PepsiCo positions included international general management and domestic senior marketing and sales management positions with the company's North American Van Lines household goods and commercial trucking divisions.
Earlier he moved through the ranks of General Foods Corporation: beginning as a senior brand/financial analyst and then brand manager for both new products development and established brands; and ultimately marketing manager for GF's fast food restaurant company.
His business career began with three years at the Boston Office of Price Waterhouse & Co., where he supervised audits in a wide variety of industries and performed special assignments for the firm's management advisory services group.
He is an honors graduate of the School of Management at Boston College and holds an MBA in finance from Columbia University. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for three years as an infantry platoon leader and regimental intelligence and operations officer.
Lucy is a member of five seacoast area Chambers of Commerce and is an active member of the Portsmouth Rotary Club with service on both its donations and scholarship committees.
He and his wife Marion reside in Kittery Point, ME. They are parents of three grown children all of whom are following diverse business and professional careers.
Marc Dole
Marc Dole is President, Founder and Lead Animator of Hatchling Studios, an Animation and Multimedia Company located in Portsmouth, NH. Hatchling has a staff of 10 Animators, artists, specializing in Lightwave, Maya, After Effects and Digital Fusion. Hatchling Boasts a 20 computer rendering farm of dual 1.8 Ghz machines to render the highest quality images. Animations are Edited and composited on a New HDTV and Film edit system, along with an Uncompressed D1 Reality System.
Dole has an extensive animation and multimedia background. He began his career in the late 1980s as a commercial and documentary director and editor working diligently to improve his skill set. Dole switched his focus to multimedia and computer animation in the early 1990s due to emerging technologies in computer graphics. He has spent the past 15 years working with several local and national clients and advertising agencies to provide the specialized animation services that clients require. In 2003, he launched Hatchling Studios and his first foray in to Animated Movies with a 1 minute teaser to a movie, "Flare".
Dole lives in Southern New Hampshire with his wife and 4 daughters.
