Sununu and Shaheen to Address
Chamber Members at a Special
Breakfast Forum Oct. 8

 The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce invites the Seacoast business community to a special Bank of America Speaker Series Breakfast featuring former NH Gov. Jeanne Shaheen (D) and Sen. John Sununu (R-NH). The breakfast forum is scheduled for 7:15-9 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the Wentworth by the Sea-A Marriott Hotel and Spa.
Both Gov. Shaheen and Sen. Sununu are vying for a senate seat which will be decided in the general election coming up in November. The program will not be a formal debate, but rather an opportunity for each candidate to make a presentation and answer questions.
"We are honored to have both candidates visit the Seacoast so our members can get acquainted with their platforms and ask questions," said Doug Bates, Chamber president. "We also extend an invitation to our colleagues in the other local Chambers to attend at the member rate and participate in the process."
Presentations will begin promptly at 8 a.m. with both speakers getting 20 minutes to present their case and 10 minutes to take questions from the audience. Order of presentation will be determined by a flip of the coin before the formal presentations.
Cost of the breakfast is $25 for Seacoast-area Chamber members and $30 for non-members. Those interested in attending may sign up online below or by contacting the Chamber at (603) 610-5510 or info@portsmouthchamber.org.
