I am responsible for helping our community learn more about -- through a variety of marketing programs and community outreach initiatives -- the high quality of care and services offered at the hospital by our talented team of doctors, nurses and support staff.How long at present company: Since April 2007
Why did you join the Chamber board:
Portsmouth Regional Hospital is part of the fabric of this community, both as a healthcare provider and one of the area's largest employers, and it is vital that our organization closely connect with the constituencies we serve. Being on the Board gives me the chance to listen to, interact with and learn from an amazing cross-section of members from those constituencies.
What do you feel are the critical issues within the business community that you can help solve:
The Greater Portsmouth area is a rich, vibrant community, but there's always more ways for us to connect and prosper. I want to learn more about the needs and concerns of our area businesses when it comes to issues such as healthcare so I can help members form useful bonds and solve problems.
In regard to your work as members of the board, what strengths, or areas of expertise do you feel you can contribute:
My expertise is in communication, and I hope to leverage that strength to find effective and innovative ways to further the chamber's mission to advance the economic, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of the Greater Portsmouth area.
