8-10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11 NH Community Technical College Pease Int'l Tradeport, Portsmouth, NH
The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce invites the local business community to another program in the free Citizens Bank Business Development Workshop Series entitled Generating Profitable Growth in a Changing and Challenging Economy-Analyzing , Re-constructing, and Measuring your Business for Today's, and Tomorrow's,Growth Opportunities. This workshop focuses on how to analyze your current business performance, realign it with the current opportunities in your marketplace, develop key initiatives for these opportunities, and then move forward with a new set of measurable goals and objectives that capitalize on these opportunities.
Although the workshop is free, space is limited so those interested should register by contacting the Chamber at (603) 436-3988 or by emailing info@portsmouthchamber.org.
The aim of the workshop is to give the business leader, who is setting up their business, or who has made it past the critical early years of their businesses implementation, the tools and information he or she needs to take their business to the next level.
This workshop will focus on ways to evaluate their business performance, but more importantly it will focus on how to identify good current performance, see the current opportunities available to the business, move them to strategic objectives, develop key initiatives around them, and then execute on them. The workshop will then cover setting up measurable goals to drive the needed performance, and briefly touch upon the change management techniques that are needed to be successful.
The overriding purpose of this presentation is to leave the workshop attendee with the ability to run their business from just "3 pieces of paper", the Opportunity Analysis (SWOT) sheet , Hoshin sheet and Business Fundamentals Table (BFT).
