About the Chamber:
The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce is 1,000 members strong, spanning the 18 miles of New Hampshire Seacoast, to Southern Maine, and the North Shore of Massachusetts. The Chamber operates a year-round visitor information center at 500 Market Street and a seasonal info kiosk in downtown Market Square (Memorial Day to Columbus Day). The Chamber also publishes the annual Guide to the Seacoast, fulfills thousands of visitor inquiries each year, organizes and promotes the bi-annual Restaurant Week Portsmouth, hosts monthly Tourism Committee meetings to encourage collaboration in tourism promotion, attends a number of key travel shows, and leads various other destination marketing initiatives. The Chamber works in collaboration with the City of Portsmouth Economic Development Commission and the New Hampshire Division of Travel & Tourism Development to promote Portsmouth and the Seacoast.
