Our Mission

The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of advancing the economic, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of the Greater Portsmouth area by:

Supporting

• Preservation of the free enterprise system, thus creating a better appreciation and understanding of the business person and consumer, and a concern for their problems

• All activities believed to be beneficial to the seacoast area and opposing those that may be detrimental

Encouraging

• Growth of existing businesses and providing assistance to new firms and/or individuals seeking to locate their business in the Greater Portsmouth region

Promoting

• Programs of a civic, social and cultural nature designed to increase the functional and aesthetical values of the seacoast community
