Position Title: Festival Director

Responsibilities:
I am currently the Festival Director of the NH Film Festival.  My role is to oversee all aspects of the event including sponsorship, film selection and programming, special events, award recipients, industry guests, working with the City of Portsmouth, and determining overall artistic direction of each year's festival. 

How long at present company: 4 years

Why did you join the Chamber board:
I feel strongly the Chamber plays an integral role in the success and vitality of our business and arts & cultural community as well as our quality of life here on the seacoast. It was an honor to be asked to serve on the board.

What committees have you chaired/served on during your tenure (or as a member) with the Chamber: Currently I sit on the Tourism Committee, but in the past I have managed the Annual Dinner, Golf Tournament, B2B Expo, Holiday Auction, Road Race, and various special events presented by the Chamber.

What do you feel are the critical issues within the business community that you can help solve: I think it is import to create a balance between new growth and cutting edge business trends while maintaining the historic integrity and original charm of the City.  Through the NH Film Festival I hope to accomplish that and set and example for other businesses and events to follow.   

What did you hope to accomplish during your tenure on the Chamber's board?
I hope to further the mission of the chamber by reaching out to a broader audience while strengthening the relationships within the arts and cultural community. 

In regard to your work as members of the board, what strengths, or areas of expertise do you feel you can contribute?
After three years as the chamber's previous Events Manager, I have an inside working knowledge of chamber events and programs.   

Chamber awards or other community/organizational honors:  Recently I was named one of NH Magazine's 14 Remarkable Women in the Arts.

Hobbies: Running, independent film, interior design, and shopping (what can I say, I like to support our local businesses!)
