The eCoast was formed in 1999 by a group of volunteers from the local technology business community. In May of that same year, the eCoast Technology Roundtable became a formal committee of the Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce. Since then the organization has flourished into a network of some of the most powerful names and companies in the industry. Together we have defined a number of strategic goals:
The Greater Seacoast area has a lot to offer, and the eCoast is the best place to find it all. Find out more about the eCoast and the towns and companies it supports:
We're dedicated to the present and future of the Seacoast economy.
eCoast is committed to creating and attracting an entrepreneurial spirit to further economic growth in the area.
We foster a sense of community for leaders in the tech sector, high-tech companies, and the businesses that support them by promoting the quality of life the Seacoast has to offer.
eCoast builds strategic partnerships with industry organizations to work toward common goals and objectives—supporting the growth of technology on a local, state, and national basis.
No company is too big or too small. We facilitate the growth of the largest corporation and the smallest startups.
At eCoast, an educated and talented technology workforce is a top priority. We work with educational leaders to provide and promote the Seacoast workforce.
