They’re all here: fame-hungry Roxie Hart, who spends her nights jazzing it up in clubs while dreaming of a life on the stage; seductive club singer Velma Kelly, the darling of the tabloids; and Billy Flynn, the slick lawyer who, razzles the court and dazzles the press, to free the murdering vixens imprisoned for their bloody crimes. This Tony Award winning tale about corruption and celebrity, inspired by the sensationalized trials of 1920’s Chicago, buzzes with John Kander music and Fred Ebb lyrics… And all that Jazz!

 • Kid's Health Wednesday, 9/22- 6:00 pm at Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce The Back to School Truths About Kid's Health Dr. Don Conant has undergone extensive training in order to become highly proficient at detecting and correcting one of the most common and often undetected causes of interference to a child’s nervous system, the spinal subluxation. Many studies now show that achieving our best as adults - on physical, mental, social, and occupational levels - is largely shaped by the windows of opportunity opened during childhood. Up until recently a child was thought to be healthy when he or she had no symptoms. However, a number of studies now suggest that is not always the case, and that health is better defined as the ability of a child’s body to interpret, and then appropriately respond to environmental and lifestyle stresses. Back to school time can be very stressful for both parents and children. Come learn what constitutes a healthy response to the challenges that go with a normal childhood, and keep your precious ones as healthy as possible during the upcoming school year.

 • Crohn's & Colitis DRUGLESS AND SURGERY-FREE OPTIONS Restoring and Improving Quality of Life for Patients with Irritable Bowel, Crohn’s and Colitis A free community workshop will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, 6:00 p.m. at Seacoast Family Chiropractic, 150 Lafayette Rd (behind Pannaway Cafe & Restaurant), Rye, NH. Presenting will be Dr. Don Conant and it is intended for people of all ages searching for improved health and wellbeing for themselves or for their family. According to results from a recent survey of people with Crohn’s disease, Voices of Crohn’s, 60 percent of people with Crohn’s, between the ages of 18 and 34, have been hospitalized within the last two years, and more than half have required surgery within the past five years. Nevertheless, more than half of the people surveyed still find that their employers, families and friends underestimate the effect of the disease on their daily lives. Many of the people surveyed with Crohn’s reported that it took more than three years to obtain proper diagnosis and that they had to visit more than one physician – and in some cases more than five physicians – to get properly diagnosed. It is estimated that the impact of lost productivity for employers due to Crohn’s disease could be as high as $1.3 billion per year. The estimated impact on productivity takes into account the more than 500,000 people with Crohn’s and the finding that 45 percent of those people missed on average 25.8 days of work per year. We live today in what can be referred to as a “sick-care” system. And many people are searching for answers to their health challenges. We make up about 4% of the world’s total population, yet we expend almost 50% of all the money spent on medical care. Based on U.S. Food and Drug Administration data, up to 2 million people are hospitalized and 140,000 die each year from side effects or reactions to prescription drugs. The way to better health and even wellness is proactive, because people voluntarily become “patients” to add quality to their lives…to feel healthier, to reduce the effects of aging, to maximize life! This workshop will provide a forum for discussion, answers, options, and hope for what’s truly possible and necessary to promote health and healing. Seacoast Family Chiropractic is a health and life maximizing company with the goal of improving and maintaining quality of life from as early as possible, for as long as possible.
