Pre-event Details

You're invited to a once-in-a-decade party at Cabot House Furniture where the staff members will be celebrating their 27th anniversary in style. Don't miss what will most likely be the business after hours of the year featuring a buffet of fine food prepared by the likes of Pesce Blue, the Library Restaurant, the Sheraton Harborside Portsmouth Hotel, Cafe Mediterraneo, the Green Monkey, Phat City, and Bumblebee Cake Studio, and a treasure trove of door prizes, special raffles and other giveaways. In fact, the first 200 guests to walk through the door will get a special gift bag, courtesy of Cabot House, in honor of their special evening.

Gail Bradbard, the store manager, has also chosen to turn the business after hours into an event that would benefit the community by donating a portion of the raffle proceeds to The Housing Partnership. "The Housing Partnership of Portsmouth is a cause that is close to my heart and something that affects us all," said Bradbard. I think most people would agree that housing for everyone is critical for to our quality of life and the continued health and growth of the Seacoast economy. So I'm hoping for a good turnout and invite Chamber members to join us for a great evening."

Admission is just a business card.

Proceeds from the raffle and silent auction will benefit The Housing Partnership.

Some prizes that will be raffled off or auctioned during the evening include:

1.  Accent Magazine advertising package, Value-$5,500

2.  Isles of Shoals Steamship Co.,  25 tickets plus a Fantail
rental for an entire cruise, Value, $1,000 

3.  Arvidson Photography,  gift certificate, Value, $800 

4.  Fitness Together, gift certificate, Value, $550

5.  Five Themed Gift Baskets each filled with a $1,000 worth of product.       
Each basket will include items from the areas of adventure, health & body,
clothing & Jewelry, the home and entertainment. 

6.  A silent auction featuring furniture from Cabot House.

7.  A Trunk Show featuring items from Somnia, Art & Sculpture, Accent Magazine, Caprice Boutique and the Isles of Shoals Steamship Co.

8.  Gift baskets for the first 200 guests to arrive at the business after hours.
