The Chamber's Business Development Committee announces its NEW Business Toolkit Series sponsored by People's United Bank.  The  Business Toolkit Series that will be held from 8:00-9:00 am on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.  The Toolkits will provide intimate, timely and useful information in a workshop format.   All participants can expect to learn more about the given topic from a local expert.  This month's topic is on How to hire the right employee

How to Hire the Right Employees:  In a small business, the cost of a mis-hire can be many times the person's annual pay and that is before adding in the disruption and upset mis-hires inevitably create. This toolkit presentation will outline a process for hiring the "right" employees from ad creation to selection. Using this process can improve your "batting average" from .250 to .800. In every small business, every hire is a critical hire and having a process can make a huge difference in your success.
