Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? Well known for networking in our seacoast community, I enjoy meeting people, learning why they do what they do, and focusing on how I might help them make more connections. It's all about relationships and I take pride anytime I can introduce a business person to someone they don't yet know who might need their services, or know others who do. Being an Ambassador gives me the opportunity to make connections for others, as well, as help new members get acquainted. It's an honor for me to give back to our community and be of service.
What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador? As co-chair for the Ambassador team, I facilitate our monthly meetings, help launch new programs for our Ambassadors, organize our Taking it to the Streets campaign, host the Mid-Day meets, and attend events to support our members and our community.
How do you feel you can help support the Chamber staff and membership? We have an amazing staff at the Chamber who work hard on our behalf. I do my best to make myself available with whatever they need. In understanding the needs of visitors and members, I make the connections that bring them results.
Hobbies: I am an avid snow skier and outdoors person, enjoy photography, love dog training and volunteering at the SPCA. Traveling is a hobby our family enjoys together, along with pushing the limits on some of our amazing excursions.

Why did you join the Ambassador Committee: I became a member of the Ambassador Committee so that I could assist the Chamber in its work to support benefit local businesses and the community. It is a great opportunity to connect with other community members while at the same time giving back. For all of the work it accomplishes, the Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce is a still small organization that relies on volunteers to help their dedicated staff members.
What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador: Business After Hours and Taking it to the Streets.
How do you feel you can support the Chamber staff and membership: I am an advocate for the Chamber and enjoy speaking to local businesses on the benefits of membership while doing whatever it takes to support the staff.

Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I enjoy working with “like minded” individuals who are invested in the success of the Portsmouth Chamber Members. What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador? As a new member I’ve been involved with the Business After Hours Events, The eBrew, and Taking in To the Streets.

Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I am relatively new to the seacoast area and I have fallen in love with the Portsmouth community. Being a member of the Ambassador Committee presents enormous networking opportunities for the businesses that I represent. It is a great way to be involved and feel good about giving back to the community.
What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador? I have participated in Business After Hours and Taking it to the Streets. It has been a lot of fun and I have met so many dynamic people already. I am looking forward to future events!
How do you feel you can help support the Chamber staff and membership? One quality that I admire about the Chamber staff is diversity. Each individual has their own story and together the team has great positive energy. I feel that my fresh perspective and ideas can assist the Chamber with running fun and efficient events.

What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador: I have been on several committees over the years: the Holiday Auction, Golf Tournament, Harbour Trail 5k Road Race. I have also participated in "The Taking It to the Streets Program", assist at Business after Hours, ribbon cuttings, and seminars.
How do you feel you can support the Chamber staff and membership: I always mention I am an Ambassador and explain the benefits of Chamber membership when I'm out speaking with clients. I try to invite non members to upcoming events and be very positive about how the Chamber can assist with growing their business. I attend committee meeting providing new ideas and positive feedback to chamber staff.

The Chamber of Commerce keeps me connected to Portsmouth!
What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador?I participate in our 'Taking it to the Streets' a program where Ambassadors go out to talk to other chamber members at their companies. I have worked on the Holiday Auction & Wine Tasting Committee. I have sponsored a hole at the Annual Golf Tournament. I also volunteer regularly as an Ambassador at our monthly Business After Hours.
How do you feel you can help support the Chamber staff and membership?I am an enthusiastic believer in the Chamber. Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I joined the Ambassador Committee after seeing how integral a group of people they are at various Chamber functions. The Ambassadors help the Chamber Staff, members and guest in order to make functions smoother and more rewarding for all involved. For me, it's a way to be involved and help give back to my community and fellow members.
What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador? I have helped most recently as an Ambassador at the very first TechWorld 2010 on Pease, our monthly E-brews, and at the Business After Hours.
How do you feel you can help support the Chamber staff and membership? I believe that I can help coordinate with the staff to ensure that events run smoothly. This allows everyone to get the most benefit and enjoyment at each function and maximize the experience for me and other Chamber members.
Hobbies: I am a runner, avid golfer, and love to travel to my family's camp in ME. I also like to spend time with my wife and kids in our pool during the summer, and volunteer and give back my time at various events throughout the seacoast.

Why did you join the Ambassador Committee: Becoming and Ambassador allows me to meet more people, and become more involved in the community.
What special projects/activities have you participated in as Ambassador: I just joined as ambassador, so my experience is limited. I was able to work at the 5K Road Race directing the runners as the approached an intersection, cheering them on and cutting up fruits and bagels the morning before the race. I had a blast!
How do you feel you can support the Chamber staff and membership: I am a great advocate for the Chamber and I will continue to promote them whenever I have an opportunity. Now, as an Ambassador I can work with other committee members to come up with new ideas.
