Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I was looking for a highly professional and influential way to make connections with the local community and its business owners.
What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador? I handle 'Taking it to the Streets.' This allows me and all participants to meet and shake hands with countless business professionals throughout the seacoast. I also volunteer as an ambassador at our monthly Business After Hours. It's a lot of fun and presents business opportunities for my company.
How do you feel you can help support the Chamber staff and membership? I am an extremely organized and focused business woman with positive enthusiasm and energy of which I like to share as much as possible. This along with a drive to help others succeed gives me the needed momentum and determination to assist the chamber and its members wherever possible.

Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? Becoming an Ambassador has allowed me to become more hands on with community activities as well as play a more involved role in Chamber functions. I was born and raised in Portsmouth and this is a great way to give something back. It's like having a finger on the pulse of Portsmouth at all times.
What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador? I have just joined as an Ambassador so my experience is in its infancy. I did however play a heavy role in hosting the September BAH at the Port Inn and was very grateful for the help of the Ambassadors in attendance.
How do you feel you can help support the Chamber staff and membership? In my 20 years with the Port Inn I have been a great proponent of the Chamber and its efforts. Becoming an Ambassador affords me the opportunity to take my support to the next level by becoming hands on during events and by aiding the Chamber first hand with community challenges as they arise.

What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador: The Business After Hours events are terrific and such a great way to connect with peers, colleagues and friends. Our "Take to the streets" campaign has been very successful this year by getting in front of business owners and learning about their business at their location.
How do you feel you can help support the Chamber staff and membership: Helping new members get acquainted with all the Chamber has to offer and by volunteering for special projects and events.

Why did you join the Ambassador Committee: Being new to Bonta and the Portsmouth area, I believed joining the Chamber Ambassador team was imperative to my success and exposure. The benefits of networking and building relationships with such a diverse group of individuals, is priceless.
What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador: I have participated at a few Business After Hours Events and The Jumper Classic. We have several upcoming events that I look forward to take part in this winter.
How do you feel you can support the Chamber staff and membership: I feel that I contribute a positive, fresh and well rounded background to the team. I have always enjoyed working within a collection of talented people and learning from each other's strengths. I believe that I will represent the chamber with an optimistic approach and set an example for the existing and new members looking to join our chapter.

What contributions to the Chamber do you feel most proud of: Liberty Mutual participates in the "Member to Member" discount of which Chamber members are eligible for a discount up 10% on automobile and 5% on home insurance policies underwritten by the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group.
How do you feel you can help support the Chamber staff and membership: As an advocate for the Chamber, I believe the Members would find my services as reliable and would make every effort to assist to help them meet their needs and goals.

What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador: I have been on several committees over the years: the Holiday Auction, Golf Tournament, Harbour Trail 5k Road Race. I have also participated in "The Taking It to the Streets Program", assist at Business after Hours, ribbon cuttings, and seminars.
How do you feel you can support the Chamber staff and membership: I always mention I am an Ambassador and explain the benefits of Chamber membership when I'm out speaking with clients. I try to invite non members to upcoming events and be very positive about how the Chamber can assist with growing their business. I attend committee meeting providing new ideas and positive feedback to chamber staff.

Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I joined the Ambassador Committee after seeing how integral a group of people they are at various Chamber functions. The Ambassadors help the Chamber Staff, members and guest in order to make functions smoother and more rewarding for all involved. For me, it's a way to be involved and help give back to my community and fellow members.
What special projects/activities have you participated in as an Ambassador? I have helped most recently as an Ambassador at the very first TechWorld 2010 on Pease, our monthly E-brews, and at the Business After Hours.
How do you feel you can help support the Chamber staff and membership? I believe that I can help coordinate with the staff to ensure that events run smoothly. This allows everyone to get the most benefit and enjoyment at each function and maximize the experience for me and other Chamber members.
Hobbies: I am a runner, avid golfer, and love to travel to my family's camp in ME. I also like to spend time with my wife and kids in our pool during the summer, and volunteer and give back my time at various events throughout the seacoast.

Why did you join the Ambassador Committee: Becoming and Ambassador allows me to meet more people, and become more involved in the community.
What special projects/activities have you participated in as Ambassador: I just joined as ambassador, so my experience is limited. I was able to work at the 5K Road Race directing the runners as the approached an intersection, cheering them on and cutting up fruits and bagels the morning before the race. I had a blast!
How do you feel you can support the Chamber staff and membership: I am a great advocate for the Chamber and I will continue to promote them whenever I have an opportunity. Now, as an Ambassador I can work with other committee members to come up with new ideas.
Chamber Awards or other community/organizational honors: 2008 Affiliate of the year- Seacoast Board of Realtors. Recognized each year since 2005 by the United States Marine Corp for organizing the Seacoast area Toys for Tots program.
