The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce takes pride in welcoming you to our area. Our chamber has its finger on the pulse of the community as a business advocacy organization and an information dissemination center. We represent nine towns: Portsmouth, Newington, Greenland, New Castle, Rye, and North Hampton in New Hampshire; and Kittery, Eliot and York in Maine. Our Information Center at 500 Market Street in Portsmouth displays member brochures, business cards, and flyers which are available at no charge. We distribute state, regional, and local maps, offer a lodging assistance board, publish a calendar of events, and provide a visitor "mailbox" for tourists needing assistance after business hours.

Appoximately 1,000 businesses make up our membership and collectively offer a wealth of products and services. As a resident or visitor to the Seacoast, we encourage you to contact these businesses which are listed in our Online Business Directory. If you are considering a move to our area, please contact our visitor assistants who will answer your questions (603-436-3988). If you are thinking about starting or relocating a business here, our staff works closely with the city's economic development office and will assist you with site location, provide you with demographic information, and in general, welcome you and your inquiries.
