Business Education Collaborative

The Greater Portsmouth Chamber Business Education Collaborative promotes business and community involvement in local schools to enhance education, career awareness and youth workforce readiness.

The group meets at at 8 a.m. the first Wednesday of each month at the Portsmouth High School on Alumni Drive. The BEC’s current focus is recruiting mentors for Portsmouth Middle School students, speakers for Career luncheons and volunteers for Exchange City.

Committee chair is John Lyons of Lyons Law. Ginny Griffith, Chamber business development manager, is the staff liaison. Those interested in serving as a member may contact Griffith at (603) 610-5514.
